Wow! on behalf of the Haitian Community in Nashville, I would like to thank my friend Woodring ST-Preux for giving us the opportunity for our Community to be known.
For those of you who don't know me in person, please allow me to say few words about myself.
My name is Casimy Sejour,
I came in Nashville Tennessee in June 1994.
I've been working very hard to help built up this Community that I love so much.
In november 2000 myself and a group of friends such as Joseph E. Guerrier, Leonard Laviolette, Junior Suffrard, Michelet Jeanty ect...
had decided to have an Organization that could defend and protect all Haitians who live in Nashville Tennessee.
That's right, in November 2000 we've created a non-profit Organization called "Tennessee Haitian Voice".
Since then, we have been working very hard to achieve our goals which is to promote our culture and earn the respect of our Community.
We have a Haitian Soccer team and a radio show program called "Planet Creole".
Planet Creole is a one hour French and creole speaking show, the one and only to broadcast in Nashville, Tennessee.
Established since three years, Planet Creole has earned the respect and admiration of the Haitian Community which consists about 2000 Haitians.
I urge all of you who live in Nashville to listen to us every Saturday morning 10-11 central time on WFSK 88.1 FM or you can call at: (615) 329-8757, (615) 585-6098, (615) 268-1131.
