I like it though I got lost.
I wanted to comment to the post on scholarship.
It is true that Haitians don't give for learning purposes.
There are people who make money in some organizations.
They will not use that same money to buy books, to go to conferences, to invite speakers that would help them improve the same organizations, not alone sending members of that organization to training or school.
Once they have money in the bank, education is not of use.
Therefore they are at the same level where they have been for years.
They don't see it. If this society is moving, Haitians stay where they are by not learning, they will be forever "underdeveloped" right here in the United States.
